·  Please note: It is strongly recommended that a first year geology major work closely with his or her advisor. Many of our courses have strict prerequisites, and many are only offered every other year. For a student to graduate in a timely fashion, it is imperative that your course work is outlined well in advance. In special cases, it is also required that a "Degree Plan" be filed with the V.A. or the Financial Aid Office. Normally, the degree plan should be filed during the Junior year. It is the responsibility of the student to actually fill out the form, in compliance with the appropriate catalog. Any catalog may be used between the date of initial admission and the current year.
