Upon completion of academic coursework, the student will apply for acceptance to a clinical practicum consisting of 41 semester hours (see catalog, page 99).  The Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology degree consists of 130 semester hours.  Upon successful completion of an AMA curriculum, the student is eligible to take the National Certification examination for Medical Technologist.
